Diaries Main Page | Rules of Play
Thanks for sharing your diary with the readers of iParenting Media! Below are some guidelines to follow.
Diary Content
This is the place to express yourself and let your personality shine through. You are why iParenting.com is such a special place and your dedication to our community enhances the passion we
have for our work. Your words fill us with joy and laughter, sorrrow and tears. They are a source of inspiration and wisdom to everyone who joins you on your journey.
However, we do ask that you don't use profanity, abusive language or ridicule others. We encourage people to voice their own opinions, and challenge other opinions, but in a respectful manner. If you are experiencing problems or have concerns, please let us know immediately. While the lines to iParenting team members are always open, please let the webmaster know directly about any questions, concerns, problems and of course praise (we always like positive feedback :-) ) you might have regarding the diaries. (webmaster@iparenting.com). We are here to help and are dedicated to our community.
Posting Pictures to your Diary
iParenting.com is proud to be the only parenting site on the Internet that allows writers to post pictures with each entry. In order to ensure that all pictures are posted in a timely
manner, iParenting.com has implemented a deadline as well as an e-mail address for submitting pictures. Please submit your pictures to diarypictures@iparenting.com no later than Wednesday at 5 p.m. C.S.T. We will accept four pictures per entry. Please include the following required
information in the RE: or SUBJECT section of your email: the site you write for, your name, and the date of your entry. (Example: Re: PG Today Writer Amanda's Entry of 1-3-02). Attach the
picture(s) to the email with any other information you need to relay. Pictures received by Wednesday at 5 p.m.C.S.T should be posted to your entry within one week, barring any special
circumstances.
Issues or Concerns with the Diaries or Your "Talk to Me" Board
If an issue or concern arises as you publish your diary and interact with our community, please let us know about it before it reaches a "boiling point." Do not assume that we are aware of
a situation as there are more than 500 diary writers. We are here to help out and will do our best to resolve any situation that arises. You can always e-mail webmaster@iparenting.com and your email will be answered as soon as possible. We are committed to doing anything we can to provide you with a safe and
secure environment.
Your Email Address
You are responsible for notifying iParenting.com (webmaster@iparenting.com) of any change in your e-mail address. Many e-mails are sent out and
returned undeliverable, so we would ask for your courtesy in this regard.
Losing Your Diary
You are responsible for posting entries to your diary. Your diary will be closed if you do not post for a 3-week period (or longer) without notifying us of the reason (vacation, illness,
taking break and so on). If you decide to end your diary for any reason, please notify us as soon as possible so we can act accordingly.
Finally, we appreciate the contribution that you make on an ongoing basis to our community. If you have any questions, concerns, comments, complaints or compliments, please feel free to email us at webmaster@iparenting.com.
